Black earth and Nikola potato
The fields are swampy this fall. The word on the street is that this has been the wettest fall on record - boots sink ankle deep in mud and standing water, water bubbles from the soil like a spring, and earth worms have to burrow with snorkels.
This November is averaging ten to fifteen degrees below normal temperatures, and we have been scrambling to bring the harvest before the soil freezes and cellular walls burst. The barn is so full of vegetables that the earth has began to wobble on its axis.
